I 'hate' losing my temper and if it happens (rarely actually) I feel a sense of defeat. It bothers me for the whole day or maybe more. I control it by trying very hard to stay out of confrontational situations, learning to spot hopeless arguments, and when my inner heat starts to build, I characteristically go quiet and prefer to go off somewhere and leave the antagonizing environment. And I've learned to never confront a problem issue (that I have some control over) until the 'next' day or at least some later time when I can do it with a clear head and calm thoughts.

take a deep breath, try not to let things get to you as much, find an outlet for the temper, exercise, talking to friends etc....a nice hot bath, in the heat of the moment it is hard with the temper thing, try to just take some time to cool off and not spout off, walk away---but come back to resolve the matter-tell the other person you need a minute or so....just some thoughts----good luck

Wat wit Jesus freaking? You cannot worship Jesus, rather reverence him as God's servant -as his disciple took him [Act 3v13] dont go close to the boundary, rather stay within. So correvct that notion about urself.
On temper, it is a mini madness that eat you bit by bit. If you dont control it it will push to hell and it is on recoed as the fastest destructive trait in man. We are thot as muslims that it is a fire in man sparked from the flame in hell. So note this cxarefully.
Anger is not without its good. Good when vented to repel evil and label against God and His sacreds.
To control, speak little and take time to make response anytime you feel you want to Listen quick and respond late.
Second, if the anger sparks off, if u are close to water, take that- perhaps sip. If only u r a muslim- a mercy for us - is to take our water and perform ablution.
Third if you are standing at this point in time, take a sit. If seated, then lie down.
Make a habit of smilling- not laughter.
Good luck

Find out the reason why you lose your temper, then be aware of those things that set you off and develop some technique to stop it. It takes a lot of work. You have to know why you get that way in order to fix what is wrong.

3) Decide my energy is better spent on other things
4) Don’t take things so personally
5) Take a nice hot soak in the tub with my CD player and listen to my favorite music
5) Clean out and organize a closet.
6) Write it out in a journal
Hope some of these help.

Well it depends on the situation.
If the person is a creep see him as retarded and less fortunate.
Ifyou are upset about a position you are in think of others in a worst position.
Basically, learn to condition your mind to think in a more positive way.
When you are angry walk away and think of something that pleases you.. take deep breathes.
Keep in mind that your temper may drive you to do what you dont want.. and think about what you can lose after doing it.

I'm the same boat with you...my goodness do I have a quick temper. I pray, and pray and pray about it.
And I still lose it sometimes!
Nothing can take the place of asking God to help you. A psalmist put it well, he asked God to "put a guard at the door of my mouth". I use that one a LOT!
