My best friend's boyfriend cheated on her. I don't know what to tell her, because she knows she should've broken up with him but she hasn't yet. I think she should, but I don't know how to convince her. Now she's afraid that every guy she goes with will be just like him (he's her first boyfriend, and it's hard to let go). How can I help her?

I am a guy who doesn't cheat on my girl. We broke up due to other reason.(well, get to the point...)
Please tell your friend to let go the boyfriend....
If she doesn't do it now, she will be hurt even the worest.
It's hard to let go for the first one.
Guys are not all like that. At least i don't.
It took me 1 year to get over it.

She shouldv'e and she still should. I don't think she would like to be in a relationship where the guy is going to laugh behind her back. She got to realize that she is going to get hurt with this imature guy. I also don't think she would want to stay in a relationship full of illusions.She has to live in reality; and the reality is that he doesn't like her. If really likes her, he would've not done this in the first place. Not even thought about it. This little boy doesn't deserve your best friend's heart. Anyways, she can always find somebody better than him, who can appreciate her and care about her feelings. If he thinks he's a man for doing such thing, he's ultimately wrong. That's not a closer step to be a man. That's a closer step to be a coward. And he is already. Your best friend needs to move on. It can hurt, since it's her first boyfriend. But I hope she doesn't keep this mentallity about any guy she meets, beacause they are plenty out there who are real guys. She just has look and be careful. You'll never know. Maybe he'll find her. Let her know that although he was the first boyfriend he won't be the last. What one does wrong someone else can make right & althought it may be tough for her to get over him, the process just takes some time & eventually she will move on.
Spend time w/ her & do things to help take her mind off the issue. Good luck!

By telling her, it will prove that you truely are a friend. But be careful b/c if she loves him alot it might put your friendship in question..Cheating guys are always going to be cheating guys...You need'ta let your friend understand that it's normal for women to become man haters after a break-up, but that feeling will go away once a new guy comes around.

You can just be there for her and keep her busy. You cant "convince" someone to do something. Either they want to or they dont. When she does break up with him keep her busy with hobbies that dont involve boys. There are a lot of bad guys and bad girls out there. But there are plenty of good ones waiting to be found.

first let her know that the best thing for her to do is get rid of him...he doesnt deserve for her to forgive him and let him stick around...that will just let him think that he can do it again and be off the hook...i dont blame ur friend for being afraid...being burned the first time will definitely do that to a girl...been there done that...best thing you can dof or her is be there for her no matter what she decides to do...best of luck to ur friend

i had the same problem but i said with him he cheated on me again! Tell her if if he says sorry He probably doesn't mean it! i said with a guy that cheated on me twice I wished I had walked away the first time!

first of all ur frend shud realize that all the guys r not cheats. yes, in such a case it will b hard to imagine cuz of the emotional blow and stuff, but if he hasnt told her himself honestly , wid any guilt.. then she shud sak him this... if he confesses it then tell her to smash the guy's balls for spoiling all the guys' names and cheating on her

Just be supportive and let her make her own choices. Your job is to be there when she needs to cry, scream, laugh, or just talk. Let her tell you what she needs.
