Example : When you plan to go on a trip to the lake and they say there is rain in the forcast , but it's a small chance , do you have faith that it won't rain ? If you can have faith in something like that then it is easy to have faith in God . You rely on faith for a lot of things throughout your life . If you look at it from an athiests point of view , when you die there is nothingness . No where to go after you die . Just worms in the ground and you .
But if you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved and have everlasting life . That means forever . We can't understand how this works because we are only human . Isaiah 55:8-9 . God bless you

Definetly get information. If it is solid analytical proof you want, go talk to a priest, look into books. Go and get books about miracles, such as fatima, or stigmata. There are so many miracles big and small that happen everyday that give proof to God. Not only miracles though, even philosephy gives proof to it.
A good book to look into if you want a proof that God exists is the Handbook of Christian Apologetics, i know that one of the co-authors is Scott Han. It would be a big help.
As for things that arent so analytical. You can see God and His glory in everything on earth. You see it in a newborn baby, in love, in nature and every creature around us.
Also, look into the Catechism of the Catholic Church, or any other apologetics if you are so curious. I know what it is like to have a mind like yours, but when you see God's word fulfilled in the world, in people, in souls it will open your heart.
You might be going through some tough times, but dont despair little one, your Father is always watching out for you and is there, even at times when it does not seem like it.
God bless, and i hope and pray your soul finds peace.

You probably won't find the answer by just thinking abt it.
Read a few books, ask the priests.
Its difficult for ordinary people to be theologists.
remember the story of St.Augustine?
He was thinking abt the holy trinity and wandering on a beach. He couldn't grasp the concept of the trinity and was really perplexed, when he saw a small kid. The kid was using a piece of shell, goes to the sea, collects some water in the shell. He then walked back to the beach and poured the water into a small hole in the ground. the kid kept doing this.
Augustine went up to the kid and asked him, "what r u doing?".
The kid said "i am trying bring the sea to the other side".
Augustine laughed and said "Thats impossible. how can u be so naive to think u can move this whole vast ocean by doing that?".
to which the kid replied, "what you are trying to achieve is similar to what i am doing. God is like that vast ocean. Its impossible for you to understand everything and it is beyond anything the human mind can fathom".
and the kid dissappeared.

I am not sure why you are talking about faith and evidence so closely linked together.
If you were a child stuck on a low branch in a tree and your father (or some adult you trusted) with arms outstretched said "Let go - I'll catch you", you may not have evidence that you will be caught safely. This is a trust issue.
Evidence may, in fact, confound an issue like this. You may be a particularly nerdy child and be well aware of the statistics of head injury and its outcomes. You might observe that the base of the tree is not surrounded by spongy material designed to minimize impact trauma. You MAY have been unfortunate enough to have witnessed that this particular adult could not catch ANYTHING to save his/her life!
All of this stuff comes down to trust.
Would you trust the adult?
Would you trust yourself?
Would you stay in the tree till the fire dept got you?
God isn't torturing you. This is just life.

Hi. I think you should consider the difference between belief in God and belief in religion. Despite what any church leader will tell you, ALL religious writings were written by men. Whether you choose to believe that God worked through those men is up to you. So, when the Bible tells you that you should never cut your hair at your temples, to keep the Sabbath holy, etc. these laws were written down by men. God doesn't use a pen.
Just don't take the words of a flawed religion (all human creations are flawed, since we are all imperfect) to mean that God is not there. Whatever God is, is beyond our foolish minds to know.
That's my two cents anyway.

God loves you. Above all He wants a relationship with you so He can show you the direction you should take in order to be happy. Prayer is your strongest tool. Surrender to His will and ask for Him to come into your life and show you what He intends for you. He will show you proof, in spiritual ways, that He is there for you.
You should separate scientific truths from scientific theories. Nothing that is proven scientifically, negates the presence of God. If anything, entropy shows that we could not have accidentally formed here. There is too much order in our physical world for it not to have been created, and the mere fact that it is going towards disorder must mean that there was someone concious who put it into order to begin with.
God bless.

nope you are perfectly normal .. you should always look for your truth and if something doesn't fit or sit well for you then find out why and what to do about it
do you believe in a god yet not what your book says ? investigate that outside your book
do you doubt there is a god at all and want proof of one .. that isn't going to be easy but again look outside your book
i am saying this as a non christian sweetie but i would never tell anyone to come away from their religion , that has to be your choice
what i will say is I'm sure god does not hate you , I'm sure its very healthy to be inquisitive but its even better when you start to search for that knowledge no matter where it takes you .. you will feel good for knowing xx

No, God does not hate you. Sometimes, He puts us into harsh situations to test our true nature. Questions do not make you less faithful. If anything, they mean that you are trying to further your beliefs in your creator. You must continue to search until you find your own truth - that God is there to always love and support.

You call you're self an athest. I think you're just here to stir up trouble. Everthing the Bible says is true. If you want to criticise the Bible, have some proof that it's false. THAT would be the scientific way, since you're so fond of sceinctisc "evidence" to the contrary of the Bible.
