Oh, it lasts! There are houses built out of it that have been standing for over 500 years!

Also it is very durable... but cheaper then cool looking rock or marble...

:)

No I don't have photos (yet), I will be making it as soon as summer semester ends. That way I have time. I can send them to anyone interested on giving me feed back on what they think.

If they were made with pillows and stuff (like wooden furniture is) YES they would be just as comfy!

I think it would be too heavy, impossible to move around not so comfy . Kind of Artsy Fartsy. Not workin with my traditional style but hey anything goes! That one guy made a bed with Fed Ex Boxes! Start a new trend and sell it to the Stars for big big bucks. Best of luck Adobe Angel, you can use that name!

It would really depend on what type of furniture it was. I have seen some outdoor benches that I really liked. I would love to have a headboard made of clay. I think that would look awesome. I think the most important thing about it to me would be if it was really good clay that would last. Some of it just falls apart after very little time. It would have to be double fired.

Is this going to be made from that red adobe type clay? So that when I sit in a chair I get a big orange stain on my butt?

I think it sounds like a pretty stupid idea, but maybe if I saw pictures I would change my mind.
