Yes thats true. But a lot of this list is not from the Romans or Greeks. Some is from Mesopotamia (you know the big place between 2 rivers under the ###### war).
And a lot of things are from Christianism.
Modern paiting - (just think about Leonardo da Vinci or Michelangelo Bounarotti)
Classical music (the roots of the modern music)
Modern medicine
Linguistic
Etc. etc.
(And I would forget the Colosseum. Its great but you should remember it was the place where hundreds of humans died...)

Sure, but what does religion have to do with architecture? I'm not a religious person but check out the buddist temples and towers and fantastic landscaping they do in the orient.
Christian architects can be proud of the many beautiful churches and castles of Europe.
All cultures are composed of humans, and human beings sometimes do some pretty good and amazing things when we're not killing each other.

this is something English teachers contribute to the world:
the knowledge of the arcane symbol, illustrated as follows:
?
that is generally used to indicate a slightly higher pitch as one moves through the group of words marked with such symbol, commonly known as a "sentence", but which the use of the symbol changes to a "question." Questions are merely inquiries about a subject, and therefore precipitate an answer, and therefore, an answer cannot be given without a question.
It is because of the multitude of questions existing in the world that Yahoo e-mail service created Yahoo Answers, an online service which allows users to post questions, and to therefore have them answered by other user. however, these users cannot provide an answer without a question being asked. This simple fact renders your question utterly without purpose.

hi Bro, i became only analyzing (Heckcat) answer as quickly as I have been given a real heaviness in my heart and felt a grieving of the Spirit that "Christians" sometime, a technique or the different manage one yet another this manner. i understand I certainly have visited some "deacon-possessed" church homes and a few the place they seem down their nostril at you. jogs my memory of a narrative i'd choose to share. have you ever been to this church? One Sunday morning an outdated cowboy entered a church only in the previous centers have been to start. in spite of the actual undeniable fact that the outdated guy and his outfits have been spotlessly sparkling, he wore denims, a denim blouse and boots that have been worn and ragged. In his hand he carried a drained outdated hat and an the two worn, canine-eared Bible. The church he visited became in an rather upscale and unique area of the city. It became the biggest and maximum captivating church the outdated cowboy had ever seen. the folk of the congregation have been all dressed with high priced outfits and high quality rings. because of fact the cowboy took a seat, the others moved far off from him. no one greeted him, or spoke to him, or welcomed him. They have been all appalled by using his visual attraction and did no longer make any attempt to conceal it. because of fact the outdated cowboy became leaving the church, the preacher approached him and asked the cowboy to do him a favour. "in the previous you come back back in right here returned, you would be able to desire to have a communication with God and ask him what he thinks would be suited dresses for worship in church." The outdated cowboy assured the preacher he certainly would. the subsequent Sunday, he confirmed back up for the centers wearing an identical ragged denims, blouse, boots, and hat. He carried the standard canine-eared Bible. as quickly as returned he became thoroughly kept away from and skipped over. The preacher approached the cowboy and suggested, "i assumed I asked you to communicate to God in the previous you got here back to our church." "I did," replied the outdated cowboy. "And what became His respond?" asked the preacher. "nicely, sir, God informed me that he did no longer have a clue what I would desire to placed on. He suggested He'd under no circumstances been in this church." God bless each individual who examine <)))><

But the greek and the romans were not Pagans, where they? Interesting thought though - we'd probably spend more time constructing ideas if not used too much time on "other stuff"... probably. Yeah, really good idea.

You forgot animal and infant sacrifice, worshiping idols, cannibalism, ancestor worship, belief in fairies, trolls, sprites pixies, dwarves, elves and magic spells; women as property, use of drugs to inspire religious "visions", virginity as an item for sale, voodoo, and all sorts of other things we should bring back into modern life.
The partying naked in the woods under the moon is pretty cool though.

Thank you for that,I enjoyed the read. I do although feel anger over the fact that all the Christianites(I made that up)have to come quoting again. So defensive, they are drives me nuts! No sense of humor either,so closed minded. The U>S> gov. built a place for the peagans etc. for the men/woman to hold their ceremonies. Thanks again for the new info.
