Don't listen to these fools, God obviously directly created computers. And in his image! I mean, its so similar to everything else about him, vengeful and terrifying, barely reliable when needed, never answers anything you ask it and will cast you into the pits of hell for eternity, even though the sins of your short lifetime are miniscule compared to such a lengthy damnation! I mean its ETERNITY, whats 60, 70 even 80 years compared to that?! What kind of loving father would pass this as a proper punishment for some measly humans?? Overkill?!? MAYBE!! That last part was kind of personal on my part, but, uh, yeah. God made computers. Internet porn too.

I examine someplace that a housefly has the computational ability of a supercomputer. What you call computers, God has little need for; they're human toys, simplistic machines of bipeds. God gave us an intelligence that befits somebody who's constrained to the exterior of a planet. He needed us to fill the earth with human beings and have orderly societies. as a result, we've the skill to create (for us) complicated procedures and machines. that's all very suitable and good. That even the lowliest cellular is extra complicated than any supercomputer is probable a given. while then an user-friendly housefly out-computers a supercomputer in line with risk the hubris of scientists must be down adjusted somewhat.

No, contrary to popular belief God did not create computers or any other appliances and electronics that are available today. He did however give the intelligence to certain humans like scientists and engineers to create such things that have become available to almost everyone or anyone that wants them in their homes and offices.

I agree with everyone here, god doesnt directly make the material things we have today for making our everyday lives easier... He gives us the knowledge and the ability to create them. Its not like one day *poof* a modern day computer appeared in front of someone, come on, be more realistic than that...

God didn't really create the computer. HE DID create the person who did actually create the computer! So in theory he assisted in the creation of the computer!
