May I dispute your first question?
According to the World Religion Atlas, a mere 39 % of the world population believe in Christianity, that doesnt fit the criterion of "most".
IN fact, even in Europe, where Christianity is considered the major religion, the NON believers far outnumber the Christians.
IN fact, here in America, the majority of the population, do not believe in Jesus, though the percentages have been increasing for the other major religions, Christianity has been on the decrease, so as I understand it, "Most humans" do NOT believe in Jesus, though there are quite a number of those that persist in their religion which are readers and participants of this web site.
Your second question, "Is it because of our parents influence?" Yes. Most adherents of Christian religion are too lazy to do the necessary study to discover all the discrepancies of the Christian religion, which includes blatant misinterpretation, mistranslation and plagiarism of pagan idolatry religions that were extant from two and three millenia ago.
Few and far between are those that actually study the Scripture to discover the truth, but rather, due to the enthusiastic evangelism efforts of the brainwashed believers, who use the primary influence of every known fear tactic bully the credulous and naive individuals into accepting the fictitious dead man god as a hopeful venue to eternal life. Sad. Sincerely

Because Jesus is the way the truth and the Life in everyone, and you know the Truth when you Hear it,if the Bible was false in any way someone out of Millions would find the error and flag it out,but there isn't any error in his truth so that's that. You also know right and wrong its built in from God everyone knows it they just might try to Deny it all the time cause their own guilt, keeps them from coming to Jesus, But hes all ways waiting for you, he Chooses you......that's How People know him...the sheep know their Shepard's call.....Fair well and may God Bless you...

If it's true, I'm glad. However, who Jesus is to you is more important than merely believing He existed. Is He your Lord and Savior? Many religions have a "form" of Jesus, but not the biblical Jesus.

He is much discussed because of His claim that He is "the truth, the life, and the way" and that "no one comes to the Father, but by (Him)." That causes alot of contention.

Personally....I believe He is, all those things. And not because anyone told me to...I have spent ten years studying the bible and come to believe it's true.

Because the Romans adopted the Christian religion, and after it fell, the European countries quickly rose technologically and conquered many places and influenced Chrtistianity.

I can't say this about everyone, but for me, I chose to follow Jesus on my own. I tried being very open minded. I found out recently that not everyone who claims to be Christian is actually Christian. Me personally being Christian, I find this very upsetting. It's very common for people to claim that they're Christian when they're actually just trying to please their parents in acting and saying that they are. So unfortunately, it will generally be and only be parental influence.
