I was not born with a religion. I follow the teaching of the New Testament, not a particular sect of people. If you follow no sect you see the goodness in all sects. All sects of Christianity have the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This is the basis of Christianity. Now if we could just get the different religious leaders to see this we would be doing real well. What a uniting this would be to tear down the barriers of religion.

'Raise your children up in the way they should go, and they will not depart from it when they are old.'
I would have to disagree with your percentage, though. Lots of Christian children departed from the religion of their parents in the 60's. But it is in the nature of religion to believe that yours is the True Religion--and one of the chief tenets of any faith. So why the question?
And why does it bother you?

I don’t know that that’s true… I know many more people that have changed their religions than have stayed with the ones they were born into…

ur percentages are way off and so is ur conclusion. u also imply that people are incapable of choosing and deciding for themselves and that somehow you are...i dismiss your question as unfounded, but concede that whatever religeon u were exposed to as a child would be the first that you would evaluate as an adult.
