is it better if i go to a salon or buy those color stuff from drug mart...?

its cheaper to buy it and do it yourself, but the quality is better at a salon. I get most of my business by people who color and cut their own hair. Having to fix unattractive color is considered restorative color and would cost a lot more than if you just went to get it colored in the first place. The box is never the color your hair will come out (most of the time) if your hair has another color, it will mix with the new color. Remember art class and blue and yellow make green etc... most browns are a blue based and when mixed with a red or a yellow you will get purple or green. Theres a reason hairstylists have gone through several hundreds of hours of training. Do you want to take the cheaper risker way, or the more expensive better quality way?

Never get color from a store. Always go to a salon. The box color will damage your hair more and the color will NOT last as long.

Plus, the salon can give you the close to exact color you are looking for. Box color is not so certin.

As for price in a salon... it depends on the length of your hair. They won't tell you a price over the phone because they don't know your length. Go to the salon and ask for a quote.
