who needs to think when your religion provides all the answers! i don't think people are stupid, but many are lazy of mind (myself included), and would just readily accept easy answers to difficult questions.
it's great to see so many free-thinkers answering this question. we just have to be mindful not to make atheism into religion.

The thing I hate most about religion is that they encourage people to surrender responsibility for things in their lives. This is especially prevalent in Christianity and Islam. The phrase "It is/was God's will" turns my stomach. People need to take ownership of the things that happen around them, or nothing will ever change.

The fact that people can actually still belive there is a god. And refuse to accept that we evolved and were not created.
If there was a god he'd be here and say hi guys how can I help solve the middle east crisis, hunger poverty and disease. Not sit up somewhere in heaven and keep quiet.
Christianity is one of the most restrictive religions there is. Whats with this concept that jesus died for our sins **** anyway???
would love to say more but got to run and pray!!!...heh heh heh, I mean eat

Religion is a drug to keep the morons in line. I do not hate it, since it keeps the brain dead in line worried about going to hell. Just think if the majority of people did not believe in religion. They would be out of control.

The harm caused to humanity is what I hate, not Christianity itself. I was a christian for over twenty years.

That they try to convert you. I more feel sorry for them. I laugh at the beliefs, because they are too ridiculous. Just that they could believe any of that stuff confounds me. Their defense of their religion, etc, all to insane. Overall, I just hate stupidity, and ignorance.

I do not hate it but I do not like it when people just start talking about something with out prof or with out being asked it just starts problems! Sometimes it is just better to keep the peace and by doing that you have to keep your trap shut!
