I have found that drinking water at a paced count causes me to stop. I think that it is because hiccups are a spasm and you force it into a new pattern by drinking! Good luck on your cure!

Drink some water upside down. It sounds complicated but just bend over and drink. Its worked for me before! Or try drinking 7 gulps without stopping. I've also heard that lemon juice works.

I always take a really deep breath and hold it for as long as I can and then slowly exhale and breathe in slow and easy for a few breathes, it seems to work for me most of the time.

I'm sure you'll get lots of suggested tricks but what works is getting your mind off of it because they really only go away on their own

Get a teaspoonful of sugar and swallow it like you're swallowing a pill. I don't know why it works, but that's always my last resort.
