They only offer "extensive" courses in this language, so as I am not that fluent in Korean, I wanted to know if this course is hlepful in teaching you how to speak/read/write.
Also, i wanted to know how difficult this course is.
Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

Extensive would just means it covers a lot wouldnt it?
I don't know about Georgetown Uni, but how good is your Korean to start with?
Save your money, and go here http://hompi.sogang.ac.kr/korean/ it's free, and gives you a solid start on everything to do with the korean language. It covers grammar, vocab, reading and listening. There are practice segments at the end of each section. You can also email to the professor.
I used this site in conjunction with watching dramas, reading newspapers, and having a lot of Korean friends. It was honestly the best course available without having a real person there. In my case it was better, coz whenever I got together with friends we'd just drink, no study.
If after doing this, you feel ready to conquer the uni course, im sure it would have given you a very solid foundation.
Perhaps you could get in after completing the first half of the Novice section.

In addition to the online course ,they also have grammar books, and general student/activity books for sale. Not sure if you can get them where you are, but im sure you can find them online somewhere.

Good luck! 잘 해보세요! 화이팅!!!

You could have crisis discovering a task with just one 12 months of Korean. I'm no longer certain as to what style of Korean path you're taking in Korea. But if it is just for a 12 months, I am doubting the creditation of the path. You might must entire extra years. As for jobs, good there are jobs where you'll get into and not using a uni/institution schooling. Specifically taking this path, I am totally not sure. Perhaps you'll get an English educating process in Korea on the grounds that you have got a clutch of the Korean Language? If you endured longer in Korean, you would get into translating? I realize the reality you don't experience assessments, however those are more often than not the one way for associations to determine their scholars. I might rethink your stance on education. The factor of "shoving your nostril" right into a publication in institution is to uncover and study extra approximately what you wish to do. It does imply whatever and also you study whatever. I'm a Biology pupil and its no longer essentially the most a laugh factor, however I experience watching into my textual content publication and finding out approximately the internal workings of cells. Research into careers and guides.
