I started to, and discovered that my s.o. was still in contact with her ex-boyfriend. Have you ever snooped and found something you REALLY didn't want to see?

No. I used to in past relationships and realized that I became so obsessed with finding something that I was making myself miserable unnecessarily and sometimes my snooping would cause the breakup. Now, I just let the relationship play out. If they are cheating, it will come to light and then you can make your exit.

First of all, don't EVER snoop up on your girlfriend or boyfriend's private things (like email). The only time you ever should is if you are suspicious of something. Otherwise, he may find out, and then the trust could be lost. If there isn't any trust in a relationship, then the relationship isn't healthy. But seeing as you already decided to take the liberty and snoop, who cares if he's in contact with her ex? I'm always in contact with my ex's. All of them are still my friends, and it's not a bad thing, and you shouldn't care. The only reason you should care is if they are talking about things sexually or crap like that. If so, then talk to her...girls like to talk...trust me. And if she gets all defensive about it, then something is probably up...hope I've helped.

The only times I snoop is when my gut is telling me something is wrong. I look at it this way. Better to snoop and find out now rather than waste years with that person and then it come out. So basically like I said I only do it when my gut tells me something is wrong and I'm never wrong. So yes its always something I didn't want to see.

I snoop on my husband's email and found that he was searching for women on a dating service. He is an asshole. I'm preparing to leave soon.

yes, of course. Curiousity killed the cat, remember? We are all curious and snoop. Fortunately for me my spouse is very special!

I have once because I walked in the room and he very quickly closed the e-mail window. I checked and it was an innocent letter to his best friend. I felt guilty for not trusting him and decided never to do it again.

no, the trust starts to break down, then, what if you did, and found out nothing is going on, and he finds out you are snooping, well you know what that is going to lead to......

I have wanted to before but I don't because I know if I find something bad I'll start trouble.
