You already mentioned very rightly that Hezbollah seems a very organized and powerful force in southern Lebonan, Since the War is going on for last 14 days but they are still in a position to send more than 50 rockets a day to Israeal. IDF miscalculated the target and I do not think they have the power to defeat Israeal. Because IDF do not have the capacity to fight for the longer time and they also retrated southern Lebonan in year 2000. History will repeat itself again here.

If you are talking about the entire Hezbollah group, then no. Why? Because while Israel has the potential to disarm Hezbollah, doing so will cause a major international reaction. Israel will have to invade Lebanon to drive them out. Air strikes will not be enough because the members could always regroup or hide. Not only that, Israel may also need to invade Jordan, Syria, or even Egypt to get rid of Hezbollah branches there. I wrote invade instead of air strikes or other lighter measures because air strikes alone cannot kill them off. Why? Because Israel will need to know where they all are, and that's impossible.

So what Israel can do is to disarm Hezbollah in a region. The region Israel is focusing on is Southern Lebanon, I think.

Hezbollah is a resistance stream only because the French resistance were in ww2. they're both defenders of their international locations antagonistic to fascists. If it were no longer for Hezbollah Israel might want to have invaded lower back and stolen the waters of the Litani river it truly is what all this nonsense is about. as we talk all that stunning sparkling cool water is discharged into the Mediterranean and is going to waste. Israel desires this water badly because it truly is operating out of it is own and likewise that which it steals from Syria and Jordan. there is little doubt that this Kleptocracy will possibility some thing to get their fingers on the Litani.

IMHO, the flow of money and arms to Hezbollah and other anti-Israel groups will be never-ending. Crush Hezbollah & some other group will take their place. There's no way either Israel or Hezbollah can "win" this conflict. If there is an answer, it requires a different means of conflict resolution.

If Israel is left alone to take care of and finish the job at hand they can. Israel is doing better than you think. Don't listen to the bs you hear coming from Lebanese sources. They lie. I know how these people work. I dealt with them for 5 years. The minute they started crying about civilian deaths, which they overwhelmingly exaggerate, I knew right away that they were starting to get worried. That's when they start to play the media propaganda game and try to get world sympathy for them. I'm not saying it's not gonna be a tough fight, but Israel is the only military in the world that knows how to fight a war like this. Just tell everybody to leave them alone and let them work.

It doesn't matter. It won't stop there. This battle has been going on for centuries longer than CNN's coverage, before 1984, 1967, or any other time that things really erupt over there. Even when things calm down again it will be at a low boil until next time (and there will be a next time) It is far more complicated than what you think. Even the wisest, most peace loving people have not come up with feasible solutions without both sides making enormous sacrifices regarding belief and culture.

Don't kid yourself. Israel could wipe them out in minutes if they stood up and fought like men.

Since they aren't men but rather cowardly monsters, they hide behind children. They plant their rocket launchers in crowded civilian areas and shoot people when they try to leave. Since those launchers continue to kill innocent Israeli civilians, the military has little choice but to take them out. Meanwhile, Hezbollah hides underground, quaking in fear (but unrepentant).

Hezbollah is a gaggle of murderers, not an army of soldiers. That makes them both easier and harder to deal with.

If the jews were even a tiny bit like the muslims of the world say they are, they would simply carpet bomb the area, destroying Hezbollah utterly, with zero risk to themselves. They don't....which tells you the truth about the jews. They are good people dealing with a bad situation.

NO THEY CAN'T!

Israel doesn't have the power to end Hezbollah!

If they could, they would have done it a loooooooooooooong time ago.

As long as Hezbollah Mujaheddin are willing to die for their cause and Israel has to force people to serve in the army, I don't think that Israel is going to win.

Fear of death is one of the strongest ones and if you are not afraid to die, then its pretty hard to get rid of you!

Frankly no. But I feel they can hurt them enough to neutralize them so the Lebanese government can do it. The real question is will they? Hezbollah has cost Lebanon as lot. And for what?
