I don't hate god, I don't hate you. God doesn't exist, you do, so I will address you.
What annoys me is that you would ask such a silly question, it's so saccharine sweet, so sweet it's almost gags you. Do you know that feeling? Ever have someone, perhaps a boyfriend / girlfriend that just coddled you so much it made you sick? that's the feeling I get from this question, or statement or mini-sermon, or whatever it is.
It insults my intelligence, it would insult anyone with any intelligence. It lacks any depth, it does nothing to make me think, it doesn't inspire me to ask more about it, it doesn't peak my curiosity, it just sits there like a big, fat glob of super sweet saccharine.
Dripping...dripping.... dripping...

I don't believe in god as a single creator. Being a witch I worship the dual divine. A goddess and god. Why? It is not what the christian god did to me, it is what he did not do. I did not recieve any form of spiritual peace when I was Catholic, Lutheran or just non denominational christian. He never answered my prayers, or helped me out when I was down. Let me tell you the story of the major turning point of my religious beliefs.
I was about 14 and I went to church one sunday afternoon by myself. I sat through the Catholic mass like a good catholic. I then took communion with most of the congregation. I then went and sat down on the pew and started to give a prayer of thanks. Then without warning or gag reflex the communion wafer jumped out of my mouth. It landed square and flat on the floor. I was mortified. Why did this happen? Was I possessed? (no not even close). I then heard or actually felt that I don't belong in church.

It's what he/she/it hasn't done that hurts us. When was the last time there wasn't war somewhere? When was the last time people weren't starving? When where there enough resources to provide for everyone equally without manipulation? When was our environment more friendly toward our survival? Nah...it's not that I hate God (if there is one)...it's that I resent those that believe telling me that he loves me when I see all that is going on in the world without he/she/it even lifting a finger to intervene. PEACE!

not believing in god is not hate... not believing in YOUR god is not hate either.
IF someone really hates your god, perhaps it is because you are trying to shove it down their throats. If they hate god in general... perhaps they were "faithful" for lack of a better label, and had a bad experience, seeing that god as the cause...
Some have different views, and you will just have to accept that. Some react very vehemently to preaching and to someone trying to shove their beliefs down their throats. Some jjst prever to think for themselves and to take responsibility for their actions. Some practice in a nature-based system, with energies abounding to help us or hurt us... and they are all doing just fine without being preached at or doing preaching.
Please avoid equating non-belief or non-shared-belief with hate...

Some people hate God only because thay cannot blame themselves for their own shortcomings. One cannot hate God. God is blameless. Perhaps it is this perfection that makes humans jealous and express said jealousy as hatred...

The fact that God wants them to live a Holy life is frighten to them and they refuse to live a obedient life and acknowledge his existence. They are hurting and are scared or they wouldn't speak against him or bash his followers!

Because people are ignorant. Those who don't love don't know God, because God is love.

because people don't want to take responsibility for their own lives and their own stupid mistakes..they want to blame someone else, so God is the one they blame..God gave us life along with free will..all the bad stuff going on in the world is man made, not from God.
