If you go to the www.numbersusa.com and check pending legislation, you will see a guestworker/amnesty bill being slipped in under the door....send your congressmen and senators faxes and tell them "not no but HELL NO" AND INSIST THEY VOTE AGAINST ANY MORE GIFTS TO ILLEGALS UNTIL WE SECURE THE BORDER AND REMOVE THOSE ILLEGALS WHO ARE HERE AND WHO ARE STEALING 20+ MILLION ID'S.....

Yeah, it is pretty bad. It is worse than the Senate Bill in some ways because while it doesn't give outright amnesty, it has UNLIMITED immigration in the first few years. Supposedly this is to tempt the illegals to run back across the borders to register. However, obviously none will who don't have the employer to go through the sponsor rigmarole, or the ones who would flunk a background check. In addition, how many not even here yet would take advantage of that unlimited immigration? We'd end up with both. It is an insane plan and I have no idea how it was sold to Pence who I thought had a head on his shoulders.

However, I really don't think it will happen until at least next year, so long as we are diligent in contacting our congressmen. As of Saturday Hastart was in no mood to send any bill to the floor until border security was proven. He doesn't trust the administration to proceed with it or with enforcement. He wants to see border security independently of any other program elements, first.

The election will see what the temperature is like in Congress next year, however, I don't think Pence's plan will come out of committee this year, and there are two Bills already waiting for conference which are first in line.
