Does Ms. Rice’s version of an "urgent and enduring peace" has that hellfire stench of a "final solution"?

As Ms. Rice spoke of an urgent and enduring peace out of the other side of her mouth she helped ensure the quick delivery of US "Bunker Busters" and negotiated the postponement of any peace talks. Indigenous communities and people of color all over the world and through out time are well acquainted with ethnic hatred and the actions such double talk seek to cover up or sanitize.

Since the dawn of humanity nationalistic elitist cliques have sought the destruction of other ethnic groups. Throughout the writings of the ancient Greeks are reports of genocide-like massacres ..... which continue through the Middle Ages. European elites sought the complete extermination of our Indigenous First Nation populations here in the Western Hemisphere. In Australia, Africa, and elsewhere other indigenous populations were sometimes slated for elimination by their white "discovers" or invaders. Ethnic massacres still flourish on into the twenty-first century.

The first great genocide of our current era date back to the white-man’s hatred of America’s First Nations. The First World War saw hundreds of thousands of Armenians destroyed and for the first time such killings were called a "crime against humanity." In the Second World War, Churchill called it "a crime without a name," as Hitler undertook what he called the "final solution," reminding his generals that "nobody remembers the Armenians.".

I in no way wish harm to Israel or her people and strongly believe that they should defend themselves and needed to address the frightening buildup of missles on their northern border.

Under new political leadership they have allowed a new tact to be taken ...one whose short-sightedness has lost them the moral high ground. They should have learned from all the lost chances and abyssmal mistakes the neo-cons made for the USA. But they will for decades have to live with the consequences of their destroying a pro-western secular state and creating another Iraq.

My question was directed at Rice's hypocritic postering in acting she is for peace while delivering bunker busters that with hard target smart fuzes can penetrate 100 feet of earth or 20 feet of concrete and can be tipped with mini nukes or depleted uranium. Israel may want to exterminate a party and an ideal and creating a radioactive graveyard I guess is one way of achieving an enduring peace ... the peace of the dead.

My sense from Ms Rice they weren't going to stop until Hezbollah was terminated! Who knows, Iran seems to be next on the list! Where has Korea been lately??

So you are saying she wants the final solution AKA KILL ALL THE JEWS? I have a hard time believing that she would deliver "bunker busters" to the Hezbollah (or however you spell it). So the Jews could be wiped off the face of the planet. Israel would not need to purchase bunker busters as they can make their own. The United States and this administration are friends of Israel. They are the only civilized nation in that part of the world.

I see you read, ty. We have Many in our country who are just plain too stupid to grasp even simple things. They think this is a war on Terrorism. It is no such thing. Many followed Hitler blindly to their death and those that are spoon fed by Rush and FOX will never get it. A terrorist is a terrorist because he will not fight any of our Marines face to face, they do the dirty work behind your back.

But to answer your question, no it doesn't sound at all like a "final solution". But Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and we are at war with terror, we are committed to the elimination of terrorists, we do not negotiate with them.

The only 'Final Solution' involved is Hezbollah's stated desire to 'drive Israel into the sea'. They define cease-fire as 'time to re-arm'.
