What is the truth? What type of parents do you have? Why are you telling your parents the truth? What is going to come out of the truth coming out? I would ask myself these before deciding to tell them the truth or not.

You don't give much information. But you should always be truthful and honest with your parents. They will always love you, even if they don't always understand you. It might take them awhile to come around and accept some things about you or your choices. But how will you ever know if you don't give them a chance??

yes...if you are upfront with your parents, they might not like what you are doing, and may even become active in an atempt to stop certain behavior they do not approve of, but they will most certainley respect the fact that you did not lie about who you are and the way you live your life. They may even have some good ideas about how to handle certain situations in your life. Remember, they have been there, done that, they love you, and unlike some people you hang out with, they are looking out for your best intrests, not their own when it comes to some of the advise they give.
