If the same medications don't work tell your psychiatrist. Some medications are not always the best for everyone. You may want to ask your doctor about group therapy for people who feel the same way as you do - strength and ideas in numbers! Don't be alone. Go anywhere, if even for a walk, to see people, or to do something you like. A few steps at a time is better than too much, so take it easy until you know what you can tolerate. Best wishes.

I would not want to be taking any meds that made me tired during the day. I am trying a new one , but I am taking it at night along with my klonopin as that makes you tired too. And all the meds. out effect everyone different. And being able to talk about your problems openly will help you too, at least you are getting it off your chest. I do suffer from depression myself.

I would see my doctor explain that you aren't as active as you would like he would be best to advise you on meds as for stopping depression avoid drugs alcohol abuse take extra care of yourself i.e good foods regular exercise keep away from negative influences and look at the root cause of your depression and take therapy/counselling if you are ready to but do discuss this with your doc. hope this helps I suffered for ten years and found meds alone pretty damn useless in fact I don't agree with the long term use of these. Most made me worse after initial usage.

i suffered with bad depression, and all kinds of symptoms appear, and went to see the doctor often, always the same answer, anxiety and depression, and stress.
Untill i realised that pills just help temporily, and the problem is in my own mind.
i slowly weaned myself off the depression moods by becoming positive, and active in things i like doing- less time to ponder and stress. being idle is bad for us.
Have faith, become positive, and shake off the bad energies, stay away from negative people.
Heal yourself with your faith.

I used to be just like that... they increased my meds and now I am functional. There's more to life than sleep...please feel free to e-mail if you would like to talk privately. I have suffered from depression and anxiety for 17 years... I understand your pain.
