Use a virus scanner, and a spyware scanner such as spybot.

If windows said it blocked it then it may be a Windows Firewall message.

it wasn't a bug. bugs are built into software. it must have been a virus, a trojan or a worm. if it was blocked by your virus scanner then it's no problem

yes it will still be there and it will corurpt all your files given time, you will never get rid of it !
