ok im in high school right. im consider the class jerk or clown. IM LIKE THE upper class people . i been looking at this girl shes realy pretty and shes cool. the only thing is shes s lame. i talk to her after school alone and i had so mush fun. i know if i date her my click could leave me. i dont wont to be a drop down from being the king of my high school but i realy wont to date her. i need to know what to do. please i know most of u is going to say go out with the girl but u got to understand being king of the high school is great. im the star foorball player and basketball. i cant be cought with no lames

If you honestly have to ask this question then you have other issues. First of all, if the people you hang around are really your friends they'll understand your decision to date others that have different interests than them. If they don't support you dating someone they don't "approve" of, then it might be time to make new friends.
I know it's impossible not to label people, especially in high school, but there is something wrong with you if you label the girl you want to date as lame. No matter who she is, she doesn't deserve that rude remark.
If you "can't be caught with any lames" then you need to take a long hard look at yourself. You might be the one who is lame.
You should have courage and stand up for what is right, not what others think is cool. Set a new standard for your high school; a standard of respect. If you are the king you think you are, you have the power to do so much. use that power wisely and not to just make people feel like they are less important because they're different from you.

Let me say this... high school ends, and when it's over you never look back. Except for the things you didn't do because you thought you were too cool.

If you've got that many friends then you probably have the pick of girls. So why's this one so special? Obviously she's got something that these other girls don't.

Consider also that if you're really the star football/basketball player, then no one can take that away from you. You'll still rock on the field, and that's gonna say a lot for your rep, too.

OK.... I know exactly what you mean b/c I had the same prob, but with a guy of course. I kinda just mentioned him every once in a while- always good things. And I didn't work him into our group but noone looked down on him anymore.... And besides if your the star football player, the class jerk, and clown then no one will prolly critisize you..... Start by showing her a little bit that you like her and see how she reacts.... Don't play games though she won't like that. Good Luck! She is probably a really great & lucky girl.

You don't deserve that girl... you already are on the premise that you are better than her, and that she is a "lame". Give me a break, if you liked her you wouldn't call her lame, and you wouldn;t even be asking this question...

Guess what... I'll clue you in. High school doesn't matter. Nothing you are, say, or do will matter once you leave HS. And most of the "jocks" and "cool kids" at my HS work at McDonald's or spend 7 years in college to get dead end jobs... The reason being is that they never let HS go... So let it go, and that girl is outta your league...

Playboy if you are really the "king" you wouldnt worry about what everybody else might say. A king calls all the shots and all the moves. Step your game up and turn her from a lame to your queen of the high school. A true leader will be followed.

Why does she have to bring you down? Why, if you do decide to date her, does she have to bring you down, instead of you bringing her up. If she's cool, recognize that - I'm sure you're friends will too.

...oh yeah, and learn how to spell/speak before getting out of high school. "i cant be cought with no lames" - keep that up and you'll be the 'lames' on the corner of the freeway with a sign that says "Homeless anything helps"

actually, being that you are "cool" maybe you can bring her up rather that being brought "down." Everyone will wonder what it is about this girl that caught YOUR attention. Talk to a couple of your close friends about it, and then ask her out. Why not? High school only lasts so long anyway.

Take this for what it's worth....I went to my class reunion a couple of years ago and all of the chicks that thought they were all that in High School are all fat & f***ed up now! And all of the girls that we considered to be "lame" are beautiful now...Do what you think you should but if you think you might have a future with her then don't let her get away!.....Good luck to you :-)
