YESSSS!! All the time. Like when I'm on the marching field and supposed to be at attention, or in the middle of class, or when I'm at an important event or at work... Once at a band concert. It is hard to stop sometimes because the alternative is boring. Also, laughter is really addictive. It's hard to stop once you've started, especially if you're really tired and slap happy. Or when you're nervous, because you're so afraid of making a fool of yourself, so you do anyway. Or maybe it's just because whatever's going on is so darn hilarious.

Great question!!!!
Hahahahah... LIFE IS JUST SO FUNNY SOMETIMES one can't explain it especially when it is supposed to be inappropriate.
These are the moments when your brain starts to connect all the other funny little bits that added up to to that moment inappropriate or not and then.... uncontrollable laughter! And because you can't understand why you are laughing you laugh more.... in a way is it a lack of wisdom but when you obtain wisdom and you see funny things all the time!
When I was young I once laughed with my sister for about 20 min after looking at my hand held out straight! How amazing is the hand and how funny is it that most don't realise it or even have the slightest idea how it came to be. especially at funerals... it is funny because deep deep inside we know we are not ment to die! but not one who I have met can believe it.

Yes, and its impossible to stop immediately. The laughter almost becomes painful, and its painful to try stopping as well. My eyes run with tears, can hardly breathe, and still the laughter. Usually its a nervous reaction to a high-stress situation, when probably you are desperate for a laugh to relieve the tension. But somehow the body goes way overboard.

Yes. I think it happens to all of us. I think the thing that makes us laugh so much during inappropriate times is because we are in a place where we know we need to behave. That's what makes it all the funnier.

I'm a funeral laugher and even laughed at my parents' funeral. I think that was nerves. Actually, I've had to leave several funeral services, the first of which was the WORST. My bf's granny died and she was a mean ole' b---h. We always made fun of her when she was alive and the girl turned around at the service and made her special granny face and I burst out laughing and had to turn it into a loud cry, which everybody knew was fake......God.

because it's exhilarating to do something wrong, even when we're adults and can do what we want.
I was always laughing in school at stupid things. like there was a storm and the power went off and everyone screamed but I laughed. I laugh at things other people are surprised at.

i definately have. my friend decided that it was hard to keep a straight face when saying "poo" and we all tried and ended up laughing forever. we got really loud. i think the absurdity of it all is what keeps it going longer than it should. i tend to laugh during emergencies or really stressful times that should be making me cry.

Yes. I asked my brother if he'd heard that our uncle's mother had died. I then burst out laughing and couldn't stop for some time.
I'm not a cruel person, honestly! I wasn't happy by any means that she'd died. I still can't explain it.

Yup. I get them in my production meetings. We have a quality inspector with REALLY bad teeth and often gets cold sores under one of her nostrils. Every time I see her I think to myself "Wow! What a catch!".
As for your sencond question: Just knowing that it might be a little taboo to be laughing at that time makes it funnier.

I think for me, cause I do that at almost every inaproperate time really (smirks).....
I think its just how some people deal with hard times...When you can't express yourself through words or anything else, you can laugh, and I don't think there is anything wrong with that...
