Do you think that God who made this perfect planet
(which man has spoiled)
cannot make His Heaven perfect too?
You will know everyone's name in Heaven for Heaven will be like a huge, perfect family.
The family of God.
But we'll have time to get to know everyone and their particular testimony of what trials (if any) they had to go through to get there.
There will be praise for God and many other pleasures that we can only imagine. It will not be a world of sensual pleasures but a much higher level of enjoying life.
God has so much planned and in store for His children that the Bible says our minds cannot imagine the glories to be found in heaven.
It sure will be wonderful. Don't miss it!

That is the only thing I want to do now (worship God). Everything else seems pointless.
Someone said to me once that you wouldn't notice who you did and didn't know, nor miss those who 'didn't make it'. It would just be.........heaven. Home. With God.
Earth is nice, but we age, have pain and die. We pray to God, but are bound by sin (which separates us from God too). If we could imagine what the world would have been like if sin had not been created, then we would know. :)

I think this is a pointless argument simply because God created the world with all it's splendor and beauty. Surely Heaven, which is also his creation, will be much better than what we have now.

If you believe in the resurrection, you will know that you will see the people you loved on earth again. Remember in heaven sin will no longer rule. We will receive a new body incorruptible

That is exactly why there are a very small number of people going to get that chance. The rest of us, if faithful and in the truth, will get to help cultivate a new earth

I know for sure that there will be people in heaven I knew on earth. My mom, my Dad.
1Corithians tells me...I will "know, as I will be fully known". I have no doubt that I will see them again...and what joy that will be.
