Yes I guess I do. Breaking it down into very simple terms.
If you have a convicted Felon, a known killer, A person who cannot be re-habilitiated, who will kill again if let out, why do we want to keep tax dollars paying to keep and feed him. He/she is basically no use to society what-so-ever except in the case of being an organ donar or something. Now, don't be fooled that most death row inmates do find salvation in Christ before they are executed, they do, but if let out back into society, these die hard killers would most likely do it again. Now just to clear it up a little more, I am not talking about crimes of passion, Man finds wife with another and goes beserk. I am talking about die hard gang member, killing in the act of burglery, robbery, serial, hitman, you know the type. Its a thin line but in these cases, I do believe in Cap punishment.

No but not for the usual reasons. If a person rapes and murders children for example, they deserve to die but our death penalty seems like an easy escape. If you had an option of spending the remainder of your life in a small cell or taking a nap and not waking up, what would you choose? My point is.... I think the death penalty would be a more effective deterrent if the convicted were to be thrown into a pit with hungry bears. (Okay, thats a little dramatic but you get my point.) How about the family of the victim decides in what manner the sentence is delivered. But, we all know that will never happen so I think its a worse penalty to make them spend the remainder of their lives in a cell and getting raped by other convicts. Just my opinion though.

Yes and I wish it would be reinstated in our country.It was is and always be a good deterrent to mindless killing such as we have here.For silly Q&A i`m not so sure.It keeps the thing going.It is your prerogative to read or ignore the Q`s.If you want to pick the best A, unfortunately you have to skim over them all.

well who is to say a answer or question is stupid,i have always heard that the only stupid question is the one you dont ask... but yes there are some really out of line answers,on here, usally about a good question,but oh well.
