Yes. Herpes of the mouth (cold sores) is one of the big ones. Other things like the cold... and mono, also known as the kissing disease. Any virus/bacteria in your lungs.

sure can! Herpes is actually nothing more than a cold sore, but if a person has a cold sore and kisses you anywhere fluids can meet with your fluids, you will contract herpes, and there is no cure for herpes, so look before you kiss.
