Yes. The wild west dentists had a better grasp on things. They tipped whisky down your throat BEFORE they pulled any of your teeth!

If you did not want something done to your mouth then you shouldn't have went. I have been a dental assistant for the last 12 years and it burns me up when people neglect there teeth then B@*%# when it hurts to have the problem fixed that they created in the first place!!

Go for cleanings regularly brush your teeth 3X's a day, floss and maybe you will never have to see the dentist. Because you only see a hygienist for cleanings, you get to see the dentist when there is a problem.

By the way for those who think dentist charge to much, the chair that you sit in at the dentist office cost them anywhere from 10 to 20 thousand and that is not to to mention the outrageous expense of all the other necessities.
Give them a break there are a few bad ones out there that frankly don't give a dang but the majority are continually trying to find new ways to make your experience in their office better.

Change your dentist. Mine is brilliant.

The teeth must have been manked for your dentist to pull them, the fact that they didn't hurt when you went in tells you nothing I'm afraid as some teeth rot from the inside and only crucify you when the outer enamel cracks and the air gets in....and brother DO they crucify you.

Beside's think of the money your saving by not being on the ale tonight. I shouldn't think you'd be in any fit state to go out for a drink anyway with a double extraction, but you have my sympathy for what it's worth.

Well, they are not all like this, but some definitely are.
How is is that they get annoyed with you for making a fuss about the pain and intrusion they are inflicting on you? They are invading your personal space, amongst othet things.
I am scared to make a fuss with my new dentist, because she started getting annoyed with me!
Two of my back teeth on one side of my mouth, have been filled unnecessarily - I was later told by another dentist. How annoying is that?!

Because charging you a months salary for spending 10 minutes taking out two teeth just isnt enough for them!! They want you to feel that they have at least done some work via pain.

My dentist is very nasty.. He seems to delight in inflicting as much misery on me as is possible and i can't quite put my finger on it... Mind u Mr Horowitz the local pawnbroker was in the surgery the other day and wanted to enlist for a dental check up and he was really upset and horrified when he saw the dentist and started saying stuff about him bein "Josef Mengler" and "Belsen"...

Well if you think this don't bother to go to the dentist and tell his/her on their face what you think. And the next time you have a proper bad tooth ache try to fix it your self.
Plus I find your remarks offencive.

A lot of dentists seem to find work for the sake of it so they can charge you more. They aren't sadistic, they're just greedy bastards.

I'm not sadistic and you know why? Cause I imagine that it's me seated in that chair. That helps me to treat people the way I would want to be treated.
