I have a question. You can answer any way you like.

A guy tells me I am a potential girlfriend. He professes his feelings for me and how much he cares for me, He can't stop thinking about me etc etc... I find out the next day he slept with some other girl. I cant be a hippocrite and be upset because we are not in any type of commitment or relationship yet but I can't help but feel betrayed or lied to.

What do you think about the situation or where this is going?

Do you think what he said was a lie? And why would he tell me that if it wasnt true? (I never slept with him)

If you can't figure this out on your own, then you need to open your eyes and quit kidding yourself.

First of all, WHAT is a "potential girlfriend"? Either he wants you to be his girl or he doesn't. Otherwise, it's just sex.

Men (worthwhile men -- not boys pretending to be men) who want women for real (serious relationship) tell them so, and usually go about getting the woman. Obviously there are many ways of doing this, but pretense and indecision are not part of it.

Wake up.

Sorry -- not trying to upset you, that's just the way it is.

BOYS are shady. MEN are open and direct. Learn the difference -- you will be much happier.

Of course it was a lie, after all he did sleep with another girl. I don't know the answer to the second part, because I wonder that all the time too. Guys are just asso*es and they don't know how to tell the truth.

I agree 100% with kevrob8008 and almost duplicated his answer.
The man is immature and/or just playing the field trying to sleep with as many girls as he can.
You are fortunate to have found this out before you would have been truly hurt.
I personally am always truthful to my girls even if it hurts. It's for their own good and future outlook on life.

It probably is a lie, but you have to keep moving on. If you must question somebody then they're not right for you.

He's a "player", and if you're not careful and smart, you will be his next victim. Good Luck! Give him the old, "See Ya, Player!"
