yes you can... you should be able to take them to maybe a dry cleaners they usually have a taylor there... or you can call a department store like Nordstroms to see if they can fit dresses that aren't bought there....I bought my bridesmaid dress there and had to pay about 20-25$ to get it fitted for me....
I would think they would taylor any dress....
Usually I think most places charge about the same....
good luck with that...and congratulations on your upcoming Wedding...hope all goes well with the planning!!!!
ps don't wait til the last min on stuff...my friend that got married waited 2 weeks before the wedding to pick the bridesmaids dress and I got mine literally 2 days before the wedding....they did a rush on the taylor since we ordered it by mail...

There are too many factors there for me to be specific. Best thing to do is get dresses that will be too big rather than too small. After that, yes, you can get them fitted by anyone who does alterations. The price will depend on what needs to be done and the complexity of the dress, but I would guess it will cost you $20 - $40 per dress. (If it's just a hem, you might get away at $15 each.)

Check with the shop where you've purchased your wedding dress, they should be able to handle the alerations for the flower girls dresses (if needed) for a fee. Whoever you get to do the alterations though, make sure they're familiar with formal wear, the fabrics used and construction methods are different than tailored clothing, which is what most tailors deal with.

You can take the dresses to a seamstress or to wedding store and get them altered there. But would probably go for seamstress, because she might be cheaper. Can't say how much that would cost, could be as much as $100 depending on how much they have to alter.

As long as they're too big and not too small, you shouldn't have a problem finding someone to alter them. Try a bridal shop or even just someone that is listed as doing alterations in the phone book.

It might be hard to have them fitted depending on how they are cut to begin with. The cost depends on the tailor or cleaner you go to.
