Listen i know that there's a great difference between a guy and a girl but whenever it seems appropiate, I tell my girlfriends (and i'm not gay) that i love them. I find it quite natural to show my appreciation for their sheer existence. I don't know what this guy is to you: a stranger, best friend, co-worker, but only an immature person will feel threatened by a simple i like you. if he reacts badly, then you will see the truth behind what you like about him.

How are you not gay , but yet you like this guy and can't tell him. if you just liked him as a friend you wouldn't want to tell him you like him.
I suggest that you admit you are gay and then tell him you like him. Is o.k to be gay, be happy the way you are don't focus on what anybody thinks about you.

If your not gay, then why do you want to tell him that you like him? I am a female and even I know that guys do not tell other guys they like them unless they are really really really close friends and grew up together and that is still ify.

Well first of all you should only tell that guy that you like him if your gay or bi, If he's not gay or bi but you tell him that you like him, your risking your rep of being cool ( if you are cool ) being gay or bi will be your reputation all through your life so mak wise decisions.

As it is with any meeting of strangers, you introduce yourself and strike up a conversation. If this is a problem, 'chance' to run into him when he is alone and say,"Awful weather isn't it?" Any opener works. How had you met your other friends? Do same.
