I just did a couple of fillets on the grill.
Take some aluminum foil and put the fillet on it. coat the fish with butter and then cover with brown sugar. I know this sounds a little different but it is great. curl the edges up on all sides of the foil then put on the grill. I have a charcoal grill so when the coals were white hot I put the foil on and let it cook for about 15 minutes. You can do the same thing if you have a gas grill. Set the grill for 350 and cook for about the same time. when the fish is flaky it's don't. It was so good I didn't even use tarter sauce.
Good luck and Happy cooking

Here's a simple way to make a delicious salmon fillet:
1 Salmon fillet about 1 lb
1 jar garlic black bean sauce
olive oil
Remove any pin bones with a pair of tweezers.
brush about a tablespoon of garlic black bean sauce on the flesh side of the fillet.
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
If you have a char-broiler, place some aluminum foil on the char-broiler on high with a bit of Olive oil.
If you are using a stove top, put a bit of olive oil into a saute pan and set on med-high.
Place Salmon fillet skin-side down either on the aluminum foil or in the saute pan. Cook for about two minutes.
If using the foil, place foil and fish onto a baking dish and place in oven.
If using the saute pan, place the pan with the fish into the oven.
Cook for 8-10 minutes until fish is firm.
Slice and serve immediately.
I serve this with salad or with white beans, sometimes I puree the white beans. Either way it's easy, tasty, and healthy.

Grilled, either in an outdoor grill or in your oven. Season with salt and pepper and then brush the salmon steaks with teriyaki sauce or oyster sauce or kecap manis (Indonesian soy sauce). Grill
no more than 5 minutes. Do not overcook that they turn out dry.
these should still be moist, soft and slightly pink in the center.
Serve with a rice pilaf and grilled vegetables (zucchini, peppers
tomatoes)

Marinade salmon fillets in soy & lime juice, then grill until crispy on the outside (baste with marinade every couple of minutes).
Serve with pak choi stirfried with garlic & red chillies.
