Does he miss me?

Question

My ex-boyfriend calls me every single day, like clockwork. We dated all last year and broke up for the summer. I'm going back to school in August, and will see him often, since we're good friends. Does he miss me? He claims he doesn't...but he's not big on admitting his feelings. Does he want to get back together with me? Our relationship is rocky at times but we care for each other so much. Should I get back together with him?

In the hopes of moving on, I've been trying to arrange some dates with new guys at school. I'm a second year in college and don't want to waste my time on a stale relationship. If I find that my ex simply misses our physical connection, then I'm moving on, whether I like it or not. The question here is whether his actions point to him wanting the relationship again.

I am sure he DOES miss you. HOWEVER, just because he "misses" you does not mean your relationship is going to work out. You almost ALWAYS miss a person when you have been together for a long time, and then separate. I recommend kindly letting him know that you won't be taking his calls or his emails, because you are going to do your best to move on, and be sure to let him know it isn't because you don't care about him... it's because you DO, and want to give him (and yourself) the best platform possible for building a relationship someday with someone ELSE. Once you start filling your life with other things, you will find YOU won't miss HIM as much.

Coming from a guy's prospective....of course he misses you. but as for the getting back together....that's up to you. the whole point of dating is so that you could find the one person that would treat you right. and you would eventually marry. so either you should get back together or not. the point is...it's up to you.

I think that he misses you a great deal,he knows your the right girl for him and he's afraid of losin you. That's why he checks up on u everyday. And yes I think you should talk back to him and mend the relationship because couples do have their ups and downs.

guys often deny thier feelings out of fear of rejection.it sounds like you both love eachother and are afraid to say it,or one could say if it was real love youd already be together..only the two of you know forsure,but i do know that if a guy still hangs with the ex hes not over it.if he was youd be left in the dust.hes got it bad..do you???

If you love him and he loves you then there isn't a reason for you two to not be together is there. It sounds like he may miss you jus a little if he is calling every day.

i just broke up with my girlfriend cause she had to study somehwere else and we only dated 2 months or so.. we didn't do anything physical, we kept clean, and dang, i miss her so much. if you had a good friendship to begin with, i'm sure that he misses you alot. maybe he's the type of guy that thinks that admitting that will make him feel week, but i assure you that he misses you

No, the past should be just that the past... tell him to cry on someone elses shoulders, because if you keep listening to him you wont have time to focus on the future... with someone else who might be a little less rocky!!
