Yes! Wash your hair every day upon leaving the pool. Before you get in get it wet and put conditioner on it, then a swim cap. Every three days wash with Paul Mitchell Shampoo 3 which is really good for removing chlorine.

I have been a swimmer for about 18 yrs. You should always at least rinse it out and use a conditioner after every swim. Club soda is great for rinsing out chlorine post swim. I would use the chlorine removing or even just a clarifying shampoo every other day. Increase the days in between if you have dry hair. You should also use a deep conditioner every week and leave it in for at least 5 min. Put the deep conditioner in, wrap your hair up in celofane, and wrap a towel around your head. This helps add heat to make conditioner penetrate a little better. I like the Aussie brand conditioner. But you can use whatever.
Also, wet hair absorbs less chlorine, so wet hair(in a sink or shower) before putting on your swim cap or entering the pool.

Buy the swimmers shampoo and conditioner and leave-in conditioner called ION to prevent the green and to remove the chlorine and other harsh chemicals. I seen this product at Sallys beauty supply store.

Not only should you wash your hair, but condition too. Chlorine makes hair very dry and brittle. They have swimmers shampoo too....Megan is right...if you saturate your hair w/ water first, less chlorine will be absorbed.

I would suggest getting a cap or something.
Otherwise, ya I would wash it, just because chlorine is a chemical used to dissolve and disinfect in the water, so it has kind of assidic quality to it, meaning you should get that stuff out of your hair.
