Well if you extended the title significant other boyfriend you could say "Here is my s.o.b." Oh come to think of it that may not be so very good.
If of course he is your fiancee, you can introduce him as such, or as your boyfriend, although I always regard that as a bit stilted. I think my favorite way to introduce someone about whom I care to someone else is "Oh and let me intorduce you to my dear friend so-and-so." That conveys you have an emotional investment in the person and they with you, without explaining anything more than is necessary.

I hear ya there... "boyfriend" just doesn't quite cut it when you're adults, does it?
I will often introduce my boyfriend as "my guy," "my other half," or even "my partner" (but usually only when we are up in Canada where that is common language for any couple). If it's a lighter situation, you could say something like "my partner in crime." If it's a more formal situation, I would just say "This is Joe." But sometimes, yeah, I end up just saying "boyfriend."

You could say he is your hetero sexual life mate, ok not really, when I introduce a boyfriend, I always say "This is Steve. Him and I have been dating for a year and a half. Steve this is so&so" Its a formal way of being informal.

You don't have to give him a title at all.
Just introduce him by his name. Let them figure it out.

To older people out of respect refer to him as your friend, to your peers just refer to him as your boyfriend.

There are lots of possibilities: "partner", "lover", "domestic partner", "beloved", "other half", "fiance" (if he is), "boyfriend" (unless he's old enough that that sounds silly).
