I'm not upset. This should have happened years ago and should have been done with taxes but Clinton was too busy with his intern and had no guts. The problem is with China whose usage has gone way up which kicks up the world price. Blame yourself for buying all of that cheap stuff at Wal-Mart which is from China. We need to conserve more and find alternate sources, not make the current price cheaper. That will only make things worse. It was 50 years ago I was told not to worry about oil because we had a 50 year supply. Well, guess what, it is 50 years later. An the problem will not go away. Particularly with cheaper prices.

Yes, I am, but please understand that the oil industry is a private business, and prices are therefore not regulated by the government unless there is misconduct, like price fixing. I think the answer is change to alternative fuels, because we already have the technology. The government needs to encourage the oil industry to start changing over by partially subsidizing the cost of the switch. Unfortunately, Bush will not back this move strongly because he is an oil man.

You should be very lucky you only pay 3.25 a gallon. Other countries pay two or three times that amount and have been paying it for years. Yes, I'm American but I'd rather pay 3.25 than 6.50

START BEING PROACTIVE INSTEAD OF JUST COMPLAINING !! first off buy a fuel efficient vehicle. count how many soccer moms still drive escalades getting 10mpg when they could drive a car getting 30 mpg!! also no matter what you drive if you will slow down and do the speed limit you can save 30%, but very few of you seem inclined to do so because you still pass me doing 20 mph over the speed limit everyday!!!!! now the Nov. elections are coming so take out your frustration on those greedy incumbents. VOTE ALL THE BUMS OUT IN NOV.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
