If one of their control devices gets sent back, what will it control? I mean I have a game controller, and if it got sent back to 1900, what would it control?
Plus, if you mean one of their power producing devices, what kind of power are we talking? Everything here now is either a magnet rotating in a coil or an internal combustion engine. Only solar cells convert photons directly into electricity.
So here now we have electricity and mechanical force from explosions. "Controlling" matter and energy is a bit vague and seems beyond our electro-mechanical world. I say it wouldn't work, or we would have to puzzle over it so long it would not help us.

The current universe is fine the way it is. I wont meddle with the universe. But for humans i will creat a mini fusion machine that gives electricity at the size of a battery.

Destroy it immediately. You could create a temporal paradox and destroy the universe, or maybe just our own little galaxy, to paraphrase Doc Brown.
