It's funny, but honestly the best shampoo I could find for thin hair was Johnson & Johnson's Baby Shampoo... I will use nothing else, and my hair is extremely thin.

Pretty much any shampoo will work.... your conditioner is what weights your hair down. Buy a conditioner that is a volumn builder. Gels and such can be used but very lightly..... don't weight your hair down. Also when you are blow drying your hair flip your head over that also will give you a little more volumn.

I use pantene, and they have a one for volumizing that works pretty well. Also, I use bed-head hair thickener, i put it in at the roots and then blow dry. it is in a purple curvy bottle. Also try anything by big sexy hair. Their products are great and they have some great spray in volumizers. Check at just albertsons, or a hair store.
