ok, it sounds like your body has hit a plateau. You need to change up your workout.
Cardio: Try running and changing the speed every minute. For example, you start walking at 4mph, then 1 minute later you bump it up to 5mph, then 1 min. later 6mph, then back down to 4mph. (or whatever you can do). Just make sure that last one is really pushing yourself. This should help you body to think it's doing something new and changes should start happening. You can do this on any cardio machine.

The same is true for weight training. Lets say you are doing a bicep curl. Start with 10 lbs. do 10 reps, then add some weight, do 10 more, then add some more weight. Keep increasing the weights so that the bicep curls are hard to do. Your muscles should be sore the next day. If they are, then you've done it right. You can do any weight and any reps. I do 12 reps for my 1st set, then my 2nd set, I do 10 reps, then 8, 6, back up to 12 reps. Each time I increase the weight. I do this on every weight machine that I use. By constantly adding weight, your muscles always have to be working hard and it makes it harder for them to plateau.

Also, if you really want results, eat very healthy. I give myself 1 day a week to eat whatever I want and not work out. It works for me and my body doesn't plateau any more like it used to before I starting working out in this way.

I have lost 50lbs in the last year. What works for me is:
I workout 20min. in the morning and 20min. at night.
Drink my body weight in oz. everyday. And I eat around 900 to 1000 calories a day. (I keep a calorie journal in a small note book)
Always eat breakfast never eat late. I also eat 5 to 6 times a day to keep from getting hungry. I usally eat chocolate pudding (sugar-free sweetened with Splenda) in the afternoon for a snack that way I don't feel deprived of junk food.
Splenda is the best thing ever invented!
Hang in there the weight will come off, Keep working and remeber drink a ton of water.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Try these eating habits (if you aren't already):
1. split up your meals into 5-6 throughout the day. This will keep your metabolism as high as possible.
2. Focus your carb intake before your workout and early in the day. You don't want carbs at night because the unsed energy will turn into fat.
3. Focus your protein intake after your workout and right before you sleep. This will help repair your muscles after a workout and when you sleep, so you can maintain healthy lean muscle.

Keep working out as you are, but do more cardio than weight training. Drink plenty of water and never, I mean never eat late at night. Cut out the saturated fats if you are consuming lots of them. ALWAYS eat breakfast, even if it is a piece of fruit with some yogurt. Good luck.

Aside from many myths about weight control. Exercising has little to do with weight control. 90% of it is diet. Basically a consistant raw fruit-veggen diet is ultimately the easiest way to lose weight.

I have also been trying to lose weight, but to no avail. However, it was suggested to me that I maybe needed to do some cleanses, specifically for parasites and toxic metals. Since I started doing these cleanses, the weight is gradually (finally) beginning to come off.

Try to get rid of the starches and fried foods and see what that does for you. So no potatoes, breads, rice, and NO FRENCH FRIES. If none of this works after two weeks, then maybe you should try having your colon cleansed, you body may not be properly disposing of waste resulting in water retention and large amounts toxins.
