sense of humor, smart, treats me with respect and is nice to me, good hygiene and of course he has to be attractive (at least in my eyes). He can't smoke either, i can't stand that. Oh and he can't be shorter than me, i hate that. If he has money that would be a bonus.

Hopefully not just girls can answer this as I felt the need to answer it as well and I'm 43 :)
After being married twice I'd say definitely know what you want in life and don't expect to change him. If you think he'll change the things that annoy you. Think again. It doesn't work...Put yourself in the thought of already being married before you do marry...ask yourself questions like " Can I really handle the annoying little things that he does or will it end up in big issues? Can we communicate as two adults or are we going to argue over it? Do we have anything in common? Do we share equally about house hold chores and work? I could make a huge list there....but it's always smart to ask yourself these questions before taking such a big step.

1. first of all, he has to be my friend.
2. brains ( and by this i mean that he has to read a lot and stuff...)
3. sense of humour (i get sad kinda easy and i need someone to cheer me up every once in a while ).
4. i've gotta find him attractive even if others don't.
5. good tastes in clothes and music :P (being kinda shallo here).
6. nice hands ;;)
7. he should be able to do magic tricks...i'm a sucker 4 those ^_^.
