My dog is very well taken care of. He has all of his shot and he visits the vet regularly. Everyone gose through rough times and that is what happen to me and my husband. I want to take him to the vet. I took him from the shelter when they was about to put him to sleep and he was sick then and we spent 2000 dollar to get him well. So I can afford a dog and I love my dog. IIt is ery expensive here in Las Vegas.

I am sorry about your situation - Will your vet work out some payment plan with you?

It is hard to determine what de-worming product to use if you are not sure of what type of worms your dog has - a fecal test is needed - Have you tried to call your local humane society and discuss it with them? or you can Google low cost vet care in your area..

Edit: I found this information, in your area, maybe they have had some response to their request? It offers some more suggestions as well

Don't give any thought to that snotty woman and what she said. No one can afford vet bills these days. They are just as bad as people doctors for over charging their customers. I would call around until you find a vet that will take payments or charge less. And as for abusing the site, you're far from the first person to post a statement. I'm sure Texas girl has too. She should go pluck the plank out of her own eye...

What's your question? You went on about how well you take care of your dog and how expensive it is, but at the end of the paragraph, there isn't a question to answer.

If you are writing about pet care, you are right. It's very expensive. My husband and I spent a lot of money on our cat, who was 17 when she died of kidney failure. The vet wants the money up front- he/she has expenses to pay, too (staff, medicine, rent, insurance, etc).

Yahoo Anwers is a question and answer forum, not a blog. What is your question?

Please quit abusing the site.
