Why does it seem like men have a harder time getting over women than women getting over men?

I think that because girls tend to get hurt a whole lot more in relationships than guys do. And because they have been hurt so many times before they tend to bounce back quicker and quicker after each breakup. But guys they don't really care too much until they do meet a woman that they fall in love with and thats when they really start to care.
