Chi is a company that makes ceramic streighteners that you can use in your own home day after day and they also make a way for your hair to be streight forever (until it grows out.). You'll need to get it done by a specially trained pro and it costs $250 to $500 in my salon. You only need to get touched up once every 6 months or so and the touch-ups are MUCH cheaper. I haven't saved up enough yet, so I can't give my opinion, but my hairstylist has NEVER had anyone not completely happy with their results. It also doesn't damage your hair, or so she says. I'm in south Mississippi, so if you live close, contact me and I'll give you her info.

There is no way to get it permanently straightened. You CAN get a treatment for your hair that will straighten it for 6+ months, depending on how fast your hair grows. My hair is actually really curly and I got the treatment... trust me, it's REALLY expensive, takes 4 hours to do, and it really ruins your hair. Look around for something that will straighten your hair for maybe a month or two, or at least tame it enough to the point where you can make it straight with a flatiron.

Depending on your nationality if your black the best way to straighten your hair will be with a no-lye perm,if your white your can use a flat iron because a perm on Caucasian hair makes it curly I hope this helps you and remember w/ any product you put in your hair you have to keep it conditioned and get your ends clipped every 4-6 weeks to ensure proper growth and maintenance, any more help you can certainly e-mail I'm a beautician

get it japanese straightened. its permanent, and looks good. it can be pretty expensive, but lasts until your hair grows out. the only thing is that it looks funny when your hair starts to grow in, if you dont straighten your roots.
