The body does so much better when you are in your early to mid 20's. Mentally you should be in your mid 30's. So I dont think there is a best age. It totally depends on you. But dont even consider it if your over 50 or under 18!!!

I would say UNDER 18 is too young to have a child.
You and your partner should be at a point in your life where you are in a happy and healthy relationship, make enough money to afford a child and be patient enough to raise one. Because after you have a child it`s not about "ME" anymore. After you have that baby there is no room for being selfish. You have to be mature enough to be realistic and to know what to expect, not just think ...oh cute it`s a baby, I want one. I am almost 31 now and pregnant with my 3rd child. Over the past couple decades Parents are getting younger and younger, and it seems to be a cycle. If you have a child at a very young age, chances are high that you will be a very young grandma. I think that "older" parents (mid twenties on up) are more emotionally stable than younger ones.
Having a child is very emotional and will be forever.

I was 19 when I got pregnant, had already decided college wasn't my thing after 2 years, the father was 24 at the time, it was rough dealing with each other, but when our daughter came along when I was 20, it was great. I'm 21 now, my daughter is 19 months tomorrow, and I love being a young mother. Would I recommend my daughter to do it? HELL NO! There is no "perfect" time to have a baby. You can plan for stability and financial independence and a great career, but it still makes your world go topsy-turvy.

Anytime between 20 and 27. The longer you wait the harder it is on your body. I have a friend who just had her first baby about a week ago at 37 years old and she was in the hospital on bed rest for 1 1/2 weeks before they had to induce her labor because her health was getting bad. The baby was 3 weeks early and is still in the NICU.

When you are ready and have a steady job and have completed your grade 12 and that you are happy and settled down with the one you love so I would say at the age of 25-30 yrs old... wait until you are married too...

Medically at about 21. The younger you are(adult ages) the harder for birth defects. If you mean by maturity, it's all up to you. If you think you can handle it, emotionally, physically and finaincially, go ahead. If not wait because it doesn't seem like alot of work, but it really is. Good Luck!!!
