If God came back to Earth and apologised to everyone, revealing that he was just an alien scientist who stuffed up big-time with the big-bang in a laboratory experiment that went terribly wrong, and it’s just taking ages getting around the universe trying to cleanup things.

He pleaded with everyone to stop believing in him as some sort of God and just get on with your lives as there was nothing after you passed away. He was just trying to put the universe back together again, just cleaning up, and all the residual mess, humanity included would just be bottled up once again.

What would you do?

You should be a script writer, you have some imagination!

Well, IF this happened, I would listen.

But think of this. What created the Alien?

this is the year 2006. When did all of this start?

Population continues to rise. By theory, in in the year 1000 , there had to be less of a population.

In 400 B.c., there had to be even less of a population.

If you keep going back in time, there has to be a point where only 2 humans (or whatever) existed. But where did they come from? Science doesn't and will never have a explanation for this. I have a hard time believing in God too, but just think about that when you have your doubts too.

Science does have an explanation, I suggest you educate yourself on a topic before you go around lying about it, at least that way what you say won't be so laughably false.
Have you ever heard of mitosis, single cell organisms, or evolution perhaps?

Great imagination.

But let's say something like this did happen. He would first need to convince all who believe in God that he was the one they were believing in. He might be able to actually do that and those people would become like the New Ager's. The true believers would know it wasn't really God, but more likely a hoax, or maybe it would be the devil trying to trick people.

Dear Brendas World;
It seems your God has reached out to me almost 100% in the same exact words. So many times and so many years ago.
But I never did swallow IT'S line...it's too narrow of spirit.

I am in the group of thought that includes Joja, soglesB3_06, wahootexan and jayjesusfreak...get thee behind me SATAN.

I'd be relieved and smug towards all the religious fanatics. But I'd continue to live my life in a good way. I don't think it would be good for the world, however, because it would take away alot of hope.

I would smoke a fat joint and say "Damn, that's some crazy sh*t."

Good question, we think alike somewhat, I asked a question very similar to this one a while back. You know that even if GOD ITSELF were to come down and tell them that anything Pastor Dave told them was true was actually a lie, they would have the audacity to call their own god a liar and the devil.

remember that the word of God says that those will come that say they are the Messiah, and yet they are not? Sounds like a wolf in sheep's clothing to me.

I would rebuke him in the name of Jesus because the reason we were created is to adore and praise God. God is worthy of all our honor and worship. I would think that he is an angel of light sent from satan.

I would say "Get behind me Satan" for I would know that it was Satan and not God that was saying this ridiculoue lie.

It's too late to say that God doesn't exisit.
He changed my life and countless others.
God has proven His existence too many times to doubt Him.
