So many people seem to enjoy sex alot!!! Men and women both... So why is rape a factor? Can these men/women that do it not get laid? Is it purely about the sex that they badly want to have and really sexually wanting the person they are raping? Or is it really out of the need to control and in pure spite and anger that rape is a way to take away from those who really like and yearn for the sex in the first place? Men are raped just like women are... I just want to know why?

Rape is about power and control, not sex. If a woman was not in the mood and clearly did not want to have sex with me, I would instanlty lose my sex drive. So it's not about the physical act but about the power over someone else.

I doubt the weirdos could actually have regular sex.

rape is NOT about someone not getting laid. the "purpose" of rape is to show the other person you are stronger and you have controll over them and you can do whatever you want. It is a very selfish act and women make up 98% of the people that get raped. Men dont go thru it as much. Coming to think about it its kinda hard to rape a guy. I have personally never known or heard of a guy getting raped.

--Rape is a weapon of power and control. Me over you. you over me. Sex is merely a by-product. However I did date a girl who totally into simulated rape and it was okay for a while, but the longer we went out the more brutal and controlling she wanted me to be. This girl would never use the cut word, no matter what I did. Eventually it was time to get out of dodge when she wanted me to do some things that were so far out of bounds it isn't even discussable.

Rape isn't sex, there's nothing loving or caring about it.....rape is an act of violence. Go to the library and get some books on this subject and educate yourself. It'll take more the Yahoo Answers to do that.

Rape is not about sex.....It's a psychological disorder in which you need to intimidate, and or control your prey, they get their enjoyment out of the fact that you are scared!........Another little newsflash, if a person is going to be a rapist ot a murderer the that is instilled in their minds by the age of 6 years!

rape is an act of violence, except in cases where a minor is involved, then it is a legal term. sex for enjoyment is when the couple enjoys it.
