Baby power through your hair. Smells good and helps with the greasy feeling. Also bring baby wipes for face washing, underarms and other not so fresh places!!

I am very outdoorsy and spend a lot of time camping, but like you, I prefer to wash my hair every day. Bring along a 1-liter water bottle, a couple of hotel bottles of shampoo, and a deep conditioner (the little bottle that comes with hair dye works well, or buy a small tub of it). My hair is quite long, and I promise that it can be camp washed and rinsed with just one liter of water! Use about a third of the water to get your hair wet. Pour the water slowly so that it isn't wasted, and focus on wetting the scalp (since that is where your hair gets greasy first) and the ends (since that is where your hair gets tangled first). Rub a small amount of shampoo into your scalp. If you use too much and you won't be able to rinse it out. Without rinsing, apply a small amount of conditioner to the ends of your hair. Now rinse slowly with the rest of the water, starting at the scalp so that the shampoo runs through the rest of your hair. If you still feel gross after a few days, wear a bandana over your hair so you don't have to feel the grease.
Washing your face every morning and evening will also help keep you feeling fresh. Baby wipes are essential for wiping away old, dirty sunscreen and keeping your armpits from reeking!

None, I love camping leaving town life, stress, vanity and worries behind. Leave all that at home, do you think the local wildlife cares what you look like. Get into it, enjoy nature at her best, me and a group of mates camp in the wild, no campsites for me, theres nothing better than gathering wood sitting round the fire, then in the morning putting some potatoes in foil under the hot ashes going out for the day and coming back to a nice warm tea. For washing a bar of soap toothpaste and a stream or lake.

Keep your hair up in a pony tail or braids. Also, wear a bandanna or hat might help a little.
Whenever we go camping, we all takes baths in the lake first thing in the morning. Bring a small bottle of shampoo so you can wash your hair.
I'm not sure about the dry-clean sprays, I've never heard of them. If you do use it, just make sure it doesn't have a strong sent as it might attract mosquito's and other bugs.

We camp for 2 weeks in the woods to! I always just wash my hair in the lake! I don't know if you are camping anywhere near a lake but I am assuming so! I wash my hair in the lake everyday and even shave my legs when necessary! Nothing wrong with it especially if a family member of a friend does it with you! We always wash on our secluded beach, I wouldn't recommend doing it at a public beach but there are tons of areas around a lake where not everyone goes! Camping is dirty but fun :)!

See, now this is what kills me about camping. Let's go out into the woods and carry on like wild animals for a couple of days. BUT: let's drag every element of civilization along with us, just in miniature.
Don't wash, don't clean yourself. Don't even wipe. Anybody looks at you, just say, "What? I thought this was a CAMPING trip?" They won't notice your dirty hair after that...

I never liked those dry clean sprays. They kind of leave a powder in your hair that absorbs the oil. I found that my hair reaches its max greasiness after 3 days and then it gets no worse and its okay.
It does feel great once it's shampooed.

My sister used that spray stuff when she had a broken neck and couldn't wash her hair. It helped some with the grease, but it really helped with the smell. You know how greasy hair smells!

I'm not sure about the dry-clean sprays.... but I would definitely bring along some baby wipes to "bathe" yourself with, they are a life saver when I go on missions to mexico.

You can do what they did in the old days. Sprinkle talcum powder in your hair & then brush it out. It really works, but I would still rather wash it if I could.
