I have the same problem. Here's some advice I got from the hair salon. When you get out of the shower first use a smoothing serum (Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum or Citre Shine work great), then you can either use an expensive leave-in conditioner or......just buy any cheap brand regular conditioner such as Suave or VO5. They work just as well as the kind that are meant to be left in. Make sure you buy the "watery" brands like the ones I've suggested, because if you buy the thick brands like Herbal Essences or Pantene, your hair will feel waxy and clogged up, and you won't even be able to run your fingers through it. Sometimes I even follow with a little hair gel or mousse.

I have problems with frizziness too. This is my hair regimen to get rid of it! (If you look at my avatar….you’ll see that it really does work!!). Good luck! =)
1. Choose a shampoo or conditioner by looking for the words smoothing, moisturizing or hydrating on the front of the bottle (I use Pantene Pro-V for dry and damaged hair).
2. After washing, towel dry and apply a smoothing or frizz serum (I like John Frieda’s Frizz Ease…found at most drug stores).
3. Let hair hang dry until it is almost fully dry. When almost dry, finish drying with a blow dryer while using a round boar-bristle brush (work with small areas at a time – do not let your hair blow all over the place, otherwise it will just become more unruly).
4. Make sure your hair is completely dry. If there is anymore moisture left it will become frizzy.
5. By using a 1-1/2 inch (or larger) curling iron or a flat iron, you can smooth out any left over frizz.
6. You can also apply a hair wax (like Bumble and Bumble Styling Wax) or pomade (like Got2B Defiant Define Plus Shine Pomade) now.
7. Finish off by using a flexible hair spray (like Finesse’s Touchable hair spray).
* Get your ends trimmed up at least every 6 weeks.

I had very dry, frizzy, damaged hair. I had tried everything (all sorts of shampoos, home remedies, serums, hot oils and conditioners), finally I decided that I needed some professional help. So a few weeks ago I went to a professional hair salon, and they tried this fairly new treatment on my hair and it worked wonders. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the treatment. I remember that they washed my hair, then they put the treatment on section by section (like if it was a hair dye) and they flat ironed my hair right after putting the treatment on. The flat iron was wrapped in aluminum foil and i would hear the "amino acids" crackling as it was ironed. Then the treatment was washed off and I was told that it's suppose to last a couple of weeks. But it worked wonderfully, I had given up on my hair and now it's so smooth and looks amazing. You should ask your hair stylist about the treatment, or a similar one.

1. Take about a dime size portion of Paul Mitchell The Conditioner and 2-3 drops of Varnish by A-G. Mix them together on your palm and apply on damp, clean hair and work through evenly. Distribute from roots to ends. Let dry naturally.
2. If you want a little more control to style your usually frizzy hair, try adding as dime size portion of styling lotion to the above mixture. We like Moisture Mousse by Focus 21.
3. Hair that is naturally curly or frizzy usually lacks moisture that is why it is important to use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Get your stylist to recommend one suited for you.
Of course, your stylist can also recommend the proper haircut and style for your hair. We find that Velcro rollers work great at smoothing out frizzy hair. Use your Velcro rollers on dry hair and apply heat, with your blow dryer.

You can get it Chi streightened permanently if you want to spend a few hundred dollars. Or if not, you can pull it back all the time in different cute styles ot use Matrix hair products from salons. They work great and are really affordable.

You put your hair through a lot, it sounds like it anyway.
The best thing you can do is use any type of hair serum. It's a miracle worker, and is very important to protect your hair from using all types of styling tools.

Go get a cut to get rid of any dead/split ends and condition, condition, condition!
Also don't use any products that have alcohol in them. It dries out your hair even more and makes it even frizzier.
John Frieda makes great products (Frizz-ease, etc) for rough hair.
