i want to adopt a yorkie, but they cost so much. so i would like to know some places in IL where i can adopt and they are under 4 or $300. i've tried petfinder. org, but no luck, so i need help!

thats wut i meant by adopt, i meant a rescued yorkie, and i've been researching them for about a month and a half, i would have gone to shows, but i cant find any that are close enough, so once again, help

i suggest to everyone that they try a rescue or adoption service first. too many puppies are bought because they are "cute" and then the undesireable traits sometimes out weigh the cuteness, leaving so many older dogs homeless or euthanised. yorkies are adorable, but also high strung and boy do they YAP! do your homework first on any breed and good luck!:)

go on google and type in Dog Adoptions they should have a bunch of yorkies. Thats how i found my siberians huskies.=) either that or go to like a petSmart and ask someome there. =) good luck and dopnt forget to make him/her feel welcomed into your home.
