We have a talkative cat, Toby, part Abyssinian I think. Someone stole him 2 weeks ago and did we ever miss his yakkityness!!!! Four days later, a miracle happened! He came back (was dropped off) in the middle of the night. Since we live in Mexico, YES, that IS a miracle!
We love talking to him. He answers in different tones and lilts. When he comes in from outside, he has to be petted or he won't shut up. I am thankful, though, that he doesn't talk ALL the time! lol What a wonderful, adorable cat!

Yes, Dicie May talks, and talks and talks. She is a himmy. She talks every time she jumps, ever time its dinner time, every time she wants a pat and sometimes when she is getting one, ever time she goes to the bathroom or greats you at the door or when she is playing with her sock kittens its now, meow, meow, meow. I love my little talker and would never think of getting any other type of cat. once you have had a talker that is all that will do.

I love talkative kitties. My 14 year old has to be greeted when you come into a room if she's been alone for a while. If you don't speak to her, she will keep talking to you until you do. And I really love it when you have a "conversation". They meow at you, you make the noise back -- or just talk to them -- and they keep answering back as long as you'll play the game! Too cute.

Oh yes. My oldest cat, Annie O, will go allover the house making all kinds of sounds. The other cats seem to understand her and I swear she says Mama.
It is so much fun to listen to her. Sometimes she sounds happy and sometimes she sounds really mad.
