On average my city gets to 110 degrees every day with no wind and it does not cool down at night below 85. I have asthma and have a tough time as it is anyways. However I want to continue to do cardio exercises outside since I cannot afford a gym membership right now and I will be moving in 4 months so it would be a waste. How can I exercise in this hot weather while still being safe enough so that I do not have an asthma attack?

Get indoor excercise equipment. You don't need a huge, fancy, 600-speed treadmill or anything, just something simple that can fold up under a bed or something. You can also get little weights and weightbenches that fold up to go into a closet. They might seem a little expensive, but it would definately be cheaper than a gym membership. You can even try and get a couple friends together and you can all work out together. Try looking for a store like Salvation Army, Impact, or Goodwill, they have sooo many new or slightly used gym things because people buy them and then never use them.

If you don't want to buy equipment like that, you can get excercise tapes to do cardio excercises right in your house/apartment. They can actually be a lot of fun if you approach them with the right kind of attitude. A lot of people think work out tapes are dumb and ineffective, but if you really try and put your energy into it, they can be a great alternative to outdoor excercising or a gym. Try Tae-Bo.

Good luck!!!

As they say, before starting any exercise program check with your doctor especially if you have asthma!

But a brisk walk in the morning or night when it is cooler should be ok maybe with small weights. Otherwise I would recommend some light calesthenics indoors which do not require a lot of room to do (push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, etc...).

If you are intent on doing exercises outside make sure you drink plenty of water before during and after your exercise, with that kind of heat it is easy to get dehydrated fast!

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

That's a tough question.

Definitely be in the shade. Definitely keep PLENTY of water with you. Definitely have a cellphone. Definitely keep your inhaler. DEFINITELY DISCUSS YOUR IDEAS WITH YOUR DOCTOR.

Jumping rope would be my best suggestion for daytime. In the heat you mentioned, it might be too dangerous to go running. You could get away from someplace safe. Don't overdo it. Have wet towel to help keep you cool...pour water on yourself.

If it's after dark, 85 degrees shouldn't be a big issue. Just keep plenty of water with you and stay hydrated...don't overdo it. Stop and rest. It's just not worth it.

If you have any doubt about it, don't do it.

Don't pressure! Dogs are quite often speakme far more intelligent than we're while the elements will get scorching!! We lived in S.Ontario for years, and it will get beautiful nasty with the warmth/humidity in the summertime. My lot simply crashed as soon as the warmth of the day set in. We had a/c and enthusiasts going and a tiled flooring/basement, tons of water round and so on. they usually simply lay approximately till the warmth of the day went, they usually got here to lifestyles once more within the night (in the meantime we had been thrashing round like lunatics). I'd undertaking them within the early morning, and past due night (even though I admire approximately the disorders you've got after darkish..... are you able to move with hubby?) There's no factor messing round looking to preserve the typical events going while it will get that scorching. Forget approximately the categories till the heatwave ends. Feed them early, and past due too, and curb at the quantity they've whilst it is scorching. I located mine might get free tummies while the humidity stayed prime for a few days. I'm afraid you simply have got to make a few changes to their common events, and cling in there.
