Wow... in India, women often wear very brightly colored saris, and here in America, we wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, business attire... etc. In India, children are taught educational subjects from age two or three, and delay the teaching of things like getting dressed or feeding one's self. It's the opposite in America. In India, potty-training often is begun before age 1 or around age 1 to 1 1/2, and the mother follows the child around with a potty or provides a makeshift potty outside. In America, diapers are usually used until age 2 to 3. In India, a caste system still exists, but I do not know to what degree it is noticed by various caste members. In America, there is a class system, but most people who have a good heart don't care if they have friends who have a lower income than them. By the way, the caste system in India isn't based on income. A low caste person can make more money than a high caste person. That's all I can think of right now, but there are probably one million other differences!
